About Lisa Osborn

Lisa Osborn is an award-winning newscaster, producer and voice over talent. She spent most of her 20+ year career anchoring news at top radio stations in Los Angeles. Lisa has also been a host (deejay) at a national music network where her voice was broadcast on over 200 radio stations. Lisa is also a voice over talent and audio producer, specializing in marketing on-hold messages and voice prompts for large phone systems and transit agencies.

Today, Lisa also coaches students and community members on how to write and report news, conduct interviews, become a podcaster and learn to be discerning news consumers. Lisa is president of the Association for Women in Communications Santa Barbara Chapter (AWCSB), an organization that supports professional communicators at every stage of their careers.

Awards & Recognition

Lisa Osborn is the recipient of two Clarion Awards (2021, AWC) for voice over narration. She has also earned a Golden Mike Award (for entertainment reporting). Lisa Osborn was honored as a “Los Angeles County Volunteer of the Year (Beaches & Harbors, 2009) for her ongoing work as host/announcer of the annual Marina del Rey Holiday Boat Parade.
